1. The International Competition for Young Violinists “BRAVO!” is open for violinists of all nationalities. The 3rd Competition will take place in Namur, Belgium the 6 & 7 of March.

2. The competition 2010 will run in four categories:

CAT A : for participants of 10 years old and less at time of competition
CAT B : for participants of 13 years old and less at time of competition
CAT C : for participants of 17 years old and less at time of competition
CAT D : for participants of 21 years old and less at time of competition

3. All pieces should be performed by heart.

4. No modifications of the program will be allowed after February 15th, 2010.

5. The winners will have a right to perform their pieces in the final concert for free.

6. The jury will be composed of internationally acknowledged musicians.

7. The decisions of the jury can not be contested.

8. "BRAVO!" reserves all the rights for Radio and TV transmissions of the Competition without remuneration to the candidates.

9. All personal travelling and accommodation expenses should be covered by the participant.

10. "BRAVO!" reserves the right to modify the rules of the Competition in the interest of the competition.

11. The competition implies one preliminary and one final round to be performed in each category. All performances can be attended for free.

12. All the pieces chosen by candidates should be approved by the jury and should come from a published source.

13. The names of the finalists will be proclaimed after the end of performance of all candidates from the same category.

14. All finalists will receive diplomas.

15. The candidates should fill in and send out the inscription form to the following address: Avenue Emile Max 134/8, 1030 Brussels, Belgium. The forms of young candidates should be signed by their parents. Each candidate has to attach his/her photograph to the inscription form. The inscription forms should be sent no later than February 15th, 2010. Any incomplete forms will not be accepted.

16. The jury of the competition is the only institute to resolve eventual disagreements. Its decisions can not be contested. The disagreements will be resolved by a voting procedure among jury members with an overriding vote of the president of the jury.

The Competition will invite several accompanists for participants. The prices are: for categories A, B = 60 euro; for categories C, D = 80 euro. The payment must be done at the same time as the competition registration payment. The money paid for the accompaniment can not be refunded.
